The Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa allows individuals that are skilled and talented in science, engineering, humanities, medicine, digital technology, the arts and fashion to come live and work in the UK under one of, if not the most stress free Visas ever.
When I got endorsed way back in May 2017 and moved to London, I made it a point of duty to not move and then just focus on myself but rather find a way to help future candidates because when I was about to apply, I did not see a lot of information from someone who was successful. It felt as though if and when people got endorsed, they just move on with their lives. and as a content creator, I decided to use my skill and love to impacting knowledge to help others who might need help and information.
This was led to my very first post on Feb 2018 “How I Got and How To Get A UK Tech Nation Exceptional Talent Visa Endorsement” which has been read by over 10 thousand people on my blog alone. (it was posted on Medium as well, so am not counting the stats for that)
From the time I hit publish on that post, I never knew my email inbox would be bombarded with questions everyday and I would be getting messages on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram from people around the world seeking my advice, insight or commending me on the value they’ve gotten from my content.
People loved and still love my content because I say it as it is and I put my soul into it like am being paid to, even though am not. I even go above and beyond to create Videos explaining things in more depth! I love creating content that helps people! Its a great feeling!
As of today, my blog has the most comprehensive (quality and quantity) content about the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Guidance. When I started writing about this Visa, I just wanted to share my knowledge, experience and insight because this Visa changed my life and I believe its one of the best visas to be on.
Just last week, I wrote a blog post titled “[Lunch With A Successful Applicant] How The Exceptional Talent Visa to The UK Changes Lives” , its a post about me having lunch with a successful applicant who I provided consultation for. When he moved to London, he reached out to me and wanted to take me out on lunch to thank me for the impact my content, advice and consultation had in his life. I was really happy for him because he was not only able to get endorsed but he was also able to move his wife and daughter to London under his Exceptional Talent Visa.
As my blogposts and videos on the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa continues to become popular and helps more people, my email inbox and messages continues to grow. On average, I get about 10 messages daily from people around the world asking for my advice on their application and some asking me to access their profile to see if the visa is a fit for them or not.
Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Consultation.
What started off as me just wanting to create content and help has evolved to me spending hours of my day replying to emails and messages from people about the exceptional talent Visa. Some people even go as far as to send me all their documents upfront for me to access them for feedback without any prior message.
Even though I have a lot of content on my blog on the Visa, people always want more and I totally understand. The blogposts and videos are helpful and good but it’s not directed to one person and because everyone’s case is different, I see and understand why people will want personal advice and consultation.
To tackle having to reply 100s of messages, I decided to spend some time creating a “Done-for-you” template of all the documents required for the application and this package also contains a video where I walk through each document.
This package is very helpful because one of the key and most important part of the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent application is the documents and how the content is laid out. No matter how skilled and talented you might think you are, if you do not lay out your documents / evidences in the way the examiners want to see and read, there is a slim chance of you getting endorsed. Its all about packaging and layout.
It is only when you have your documents ready and laid out properly can you then ask for advice or consultation.
This package can be found here, and it has added value to a lot of people. Its a cheap alternative to getting a personal consultation. Most people get on that and just run away with it.
Even after consuming that, a lot of people still send me their documents and application pack to go through and provide consultation on and I always do this for free. I spend hours on their case and give them feedback on what to remove or add.
Even though I enjoy this whole process, it is becoming a full time job having to spend hours of my day going through one person’s application and then moving to Skype or Whatsapp to speak to another person. Its a full time job! I made a joke a while ago with an applicant, I said “with the way things are going, I will have to rent an office and have staffs just to deal with the amount of inquiries am getting”
At the end of the day, we are all business minded people and we understand the value and important of time. Time and experience is the most valuable commodity known to man.
I still answer emails and texts as much as I can and even have impromptu meetups with aspiring candidates who are based in London but I have decided to officially start offering a proper consultation service for the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa and this is for only serious candidates.

Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Consultation Fee.
Because am not a solicitor, I had to do my research on this one. I had to check with law firms to see how much they charge for consultation service for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visas, So I can place my price at a competitive but also reasonable range to match my time, service and experience.
Before we talk about costs, let’s talk about some key points.
- How much is a 5 years Visa to the UK with opportunity to gain residency after after 3 to 5 years and also an opportunity to bring your spouse and children worth?
- How much is the the endorsement from the UK as a “World Leading Exceptional Talent” worth? Can you even put a price tag on that?
- Is getting a solicitor (lawyer/law firm) even worth it?
Am going to leave you to answer the first 2 questions yourself but I will touch on the last one.
If you google the term “Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa Consultation Fee” , you will see a lot of law firms pop up with different pricing, plans and breakdown of the services they offer. I will say this straight out the gate, the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa is a VERY UNIQUE visa and I don’t believe a lawyer who also consults for 30 other immigration visas can provide adequate or valuable advice on the intricacies of this Visa.
This visa actually doesn’t require any law in the first stage (which is the MOST IMPORTANT STAGE). It requires understanding of the visa route itself, the skill the applicant has and how to match his / her skills, career path and documents with what is required. This can only be done by someone who has a strong understanding of the field and preferably someone with successful experience with the visa. (am I talking about e here? Maybe 🙂 )
I have both understanding of the field and also experience in having my first application rejected and having a successful application and endorsement. So, I can spot an application that might fail from a mile ago because it contains same things my failed application has. (by the way, when I applied firstly, I could have bet that it would be successful)
Also, I have been contacted by London based Law-firms to be their outside expert who they send applications they get regarding Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visas to. I was surprised about this because it goes a long way to show that this visa is one in which an expert in the field is required not just a lawyer because its not a “law-filled” visa, its a brain visa. Its unique. It requires an expert in the field, its an added advantage if the expert is a holder of the Visa.
From my research, I found out that the rate for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa consultation is between £1,200 and up to £7000. The cheapest I could find was £1200 and that is just a starting point because most times, their fees are not set in stone. Its just a guide.
Below are screenshots of Fees for the Tier 1 Visa Consultation gotten from different solicitors in London.
For some people, these prices sounds crazy but for others who understand the value, service and work that will go into the consultation, the prices are justifiable. Not to forget that the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa is one of the best visas ever with little or no restrictions. Being a very good visa, its also very unique and not everyone can acquire it and most importantly not anyone can provide consultation for it.
Also, a very key point to remember is that there are only 2000 slots per year in the whole world and this is shared amongst these fields:
- digital technology
- the arts
- film and television
This means each field will have an allocation of the amount of people they can endorse. For example, the engineering field will only able to endorse maybe 200 people per year and the remaining numbers will be shared between the other fields.
I am not throwing shade but I know for a fact that this visa requires an expert and not just a lawfirm or solicitor. It requires someone with insider experience of the visa that goes beyond just knowing law, because law hardly plays a role in the endorsement stage of this visa which is the KEY to getting endorsed.
Now that you have see how much lawfirms and solicitors with no solid experience to the visa are charging, how much should I charge as someone who doesn’t only have knowledge and expertise in the field, has experience of failing and succeeding in my application and has provided consultations to successful candidates?
How much should I charge?
So, what is the price for consultation for the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa? Well, I decided to go deep into lawfirms pricing pages to see what they currently charge so I can ensure that I do not undermine or under-price my service and also that I can provide a competitive rate.
My consultation fee for the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa will be £999 for now. (I will only work with people who after talking to in the free consultation, I feel they have a chance of getting this visa and people who are serious)
What the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa consultation service will include
My work will typically involve:
- discussing your circumstances in detail and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application for you to make and what other options may be available to you; (this is usually the first step and its offered free of charge because I only work with people who I believe stand a chance of getting endorsed and obtaining the visa)
- giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria.
- if you do not fulfill certain criteria, whether this can be overcome and how;
- considering the supporting evidences you have provided;
- where necessary, helping you obtain further evidences (insider eyes);
- preparing your application pack and ensuring everything is ready for submission;
- Skype / phone conversation before submission to go through all the documents and give final advice;
- giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take.
- basically being with you from the document gathering stage to when you hit the “submit” button.
- and more!
With the amount of free content I have created, there is no doubt that I have a passion for going above and beyond! Unlike the fancy lawyers and solicitors, I have been in the shoes of the applicants! I have failed and I have succeeded.
If you interested in my consultation service, get in touch with me here and state this in the subject of the message.
Let’s get some good work done! All the best!
