One of the perks of being an entrepreneur is being able to travel anytime you want and wherever you want to. Basically, your holiday can be anytime of the year, its not determined by your boss. On the flip side though, you don’t get paid while you are on holiday like people with normal jobs do. Wait!
Scratch that, who says you cannot get paid while on vacation? Most entrepreneurs are able to still get work done from wherever they are.
Being a creative designer and business strategy consultant, my computer is my office and I take my office with me everywhere, this means that although I was on vacation in Barcelona for a couple of days – I was still getting work done for my clients in Miami, NewYork and ofcourse London!
I have always loved Spain. That sentence might seem like a normal and innocent sentence and a reason why I would choose to go to Spain but to be honest, I’ve always loved Spain because of the women! Wait, don’t crucify me yet. The media is to be blamed. Hear me out, the media portrays Latino women as beautiful and sexy and that has always been in my head hence the reason why Spain was my first choice country to visit for holiday, basically, I was going there to get me some Latino action (my mom is probably reading this now thinking – Damn! my son is lost! 🙂 ). Well, at this point I think its important to point out that that wasn’t the only reason ofcourse, I was interested in seeing the beautiful city of Barcelona, the beaches, the food, the people, the churches, old buildings, the castles and most importantly – I wanted to get away for a minute to a different environment and breathe new air.

This is my first post of me documenting my trip or anything personal to me and its a bit of a struggle for me. Am used to creating blogposts around business related topics, well, lets see how this goes.

Below are some of the pictures I took while in Spain
I booked my vacation via www.OnTheBeach.co.uk . The website is amazing! I loved how easy it was to get great hotel and flight deals and how fast I was provided with the necessary information needed to make my vacation a successful one. The website is also integrated with third-party review websites, so you get to read reviews on hotels you intend to stay in whilst you are in the country. They do a good job in placing the places infront of you, it would have been a struggle trying to find out the exact place to visit in Spain. Hey! enough of bigging up OnTheBeach.co.uk.

I arrived in Spain on Saturday and the fun began! The cab driver ( a lady ) charged me 170 Euros for the trip from the Barcelona airport to my hotel in Lloret De Mar!!! I was like – Gosh! 170 Euros! Okay, I wont let this get to me. Once I checked into my hotel, I had some pizza and asked the hotel staffs if there was any club or party around. I wanted to boogie down, for those who know me very well, they know am the life of the party and I always like to place myself in situations where the music is good and the vibe is on par with the music.
More pictures from my trip.
Errrrm! At his point, I don’t know if I should continue writing how my days went and the things I did or I should just stop here. Like I said earlier, this is my first personal documentation post so I really don’t know what to write or say and I feel the board of directors at The Presidential Hustle might be mad at me for posting leisure content on a business focused blog but last time I checked, I am the board of director…so, I should be fine 🙂
